The 2018 Puttle Championship Winners! ![]() The 2018 Puttle Championships were held during the Allentown Brew Works annual Cask Beer Fest on Saturday, March 10. The winners shown above are Marty Puzio of Highland Lakes, NJ (left) in the Golfer Division and Joe Morales, with his wife, Wendy, from Bethlehem, PA in the Non-Golfer Division. Mr. Puzio posted an impressive score of 21, including four "1's" on his card without including a "5" at any time. Many other Golfers gave chase throughout the excellent Fest, but could not move past Mr. Puzio to take the title. As is always the case, Mr. Puzio took home a Standard Puttle Kit, the "Tankard", and a crisp new $100 Ben Franklin. In the Non-Golfer Division, competition was quite intense with many side bets to be awarded as well. Mr. Gonzales, encouraged by Wendy, posted a very consistent score with several "4's" early in his round but closed out with three "3's" to win by one point. He was awarded the Standard Puttle Kit, the "Tankard", and an equally crisp new $100 Ben Franklin. Proceeds from the entry fees will be donated to the three Lehigh Valley Boys + Girls Clubs.

The 2017 Puttle Championship Winners! ![]() After posting the first score of the 2017 Puttle Championship, Golfer Division winner, John Carber Jr. (above, left), of Hellertown PA returned to his Sportsman's Table business to tend to his customers. Upon the close of the Annual Cask Beer Fest at the Allentown Brew Works, he was very pleasantly surprised his score of 23 held up throughout the event. His wife and business partner, Amy Carber, was especially happy with the Tankard, the Puttle Kit and $100 cash award. Bearded Dave Hanrahan, (above, right), bested a tough field to win the 2017 Puttle Championship, Non-Golfer Division, including his best friends, Andrea and Ted. HIs winning score of 27 took top honors, the Tankard, the Puttle Kit as well as the $100 cash award back to his residence in Clifton, NJ. All entry fees from the Championship are donated to the three Boys + Girls Clubs locations in the Lehigh Valley. As always, when the Puttle Championship is played during the annual Cask Beer Fest, a good time was had by all. The 2016 Puttle Championship ![]() Jackie O'Hara (above) of Doylestown, PA put on a putting clinic during the 2106 Puttle Championship and demolished the competition with a 20, in the Non-Golfer Division! Her score bettered the Golfing Division Champion, Chuck McIlhinney, by 5 points. Her impressive score included five 1's on her card. As shown, for her outstanding performance, Ms. O'Hara received The Tankard, a Standard Puttle Kit and the $100 cash prize. Mr. Chuck McIlhinney, also from Doylestown, PA, won the Golfer division with a solid 25, a two point margin of victory for him. Mr. McIlhinney also received the coveted Tankard, along with the Standard Puttle Kit and $100 cash award. The competition this year included close to forty players with the proceeds of their entry fees donated to the Boys + Girls Clubs of the Lehigh Valley. As always, when the Puttle Championship is played during the annual Cask Beer Fest, a good time was had by all. * * * The 2015 Puttle Championship Nathan Glose -- Golfer division, 23 Steve Searfoss -- Non-golfer division, 24 ![]() Congratulations to Nathan Glose, left, and Steve Searfoss, right, as the 2015 Puttle Champions held on Saturday, March 14, at the Allentown Brew Works. Nathan took top honors in the Golfer category posting a 23, while Steve took home The Tankard in the Non-Golfer division with an impressive score of 24. In addition to receiving The Tankard, both pocketed $100 and a Standard Puttle Kit. As always, when the Puttle Championship is played during the annual Cask Beer Fest, a good time was had by all. The proceeds of all the entry fees allowed a donation of over $100 to the Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton chapters of the Boys + Girls Clubs. ![]() * * * The Puttle Championship / Allentown Brew Works / Cask Beer Fest 2014 / Champions Derek Marushak -- Golfer division, 22 Katie Burns -- Non-golfer division, 24 The 2014 Puttle Championship held during the Allentown Brew Works Cask Beer Fest in March was decided on the last putt of the tourney. Katie Burns in the Non-Golfer Category posted a 1 on her last putt for a total of 24. Good enough to win by just one point. In the Golfer Category, Derek Marushak of Allentown held on with a low score of 22 to take honors.
